Nettie Jean: First Birthday

 Grandpa took her out for donuts. He's been dreaming about this day since he found out I was pregnant with her.

Loves giving hugs.

Loves to point.

Loves to see what she can fit into her mouth. She thinks it's hilarious to gag herself.

Very vocal. Says lots of words and tries to imitate what we say.

Always motions to her crib when she's tired. Very handy for mama!

Loves trying to put stuff on her head- glasses, clips, hats, mama's underwear, etc.

Major goof. All. The. Time.

Loves to dance.

Loves to snuggle.

Loves to smack her lips and grind her teeth.

Favorite moment: She hadn't seen Auntie Lyd in a while and she almost cried when she saw her for the first time because she had missed her so much. She just couldn't contain her excitement/emotions. No one can get her to laugh as much. She always will go to Lyd no matter who is holding her. 

12 month stats: 22.8 lbs 30 inches

It's A GIRL!!!

 We are thrilled to be having another girl!

Baby P, we already love you so much and cannot wait to meet you!

Between the messy and intriguing glitter and a rambunctious one-year-old I was lucky to catch a couple decent shots. (Well, my lovely husband took most of these so he was the lucky one.)

Apparently glitter and balloons are much more exciting then little sis.

First Daddy/Daughter Golf Outing

Seth has always loved to golf. He grew up golfing, and it is one of his favorite things to do with his family and friends. Nettie and I enjoy walking the course with him, so this little outing came as no surprise.

Our favorite kind of golf is twilight golf. It's where you golf as the sun it setting. Seth loves it because it's cheap, and I love it because it's gorgeous.

Summer Road Trip: Springfield Illinois

Last week Nettie and I went on a road trip with my family to visit my mom's family. It was exhausting traveling so far with a little babe, but she was such a trooper and my family was a huge help. I just love watching my family love on my daughter. So sweet.
